Brandon’s professional journey began as a project management intern at prominent corporations, including Blackberry, IBM, and The Boeing Company. In 2014, he transitioned into Boeing as a rotational IT Project Manager, where he took on the responsibility of managing large and complex initiatives with a budget exceeding $25 million across various business units and countries. His impact extended beyond project benefits, as he contributed to cost savings of over $4 million through process improvements and revitalizing “at risk” projects.
In 2017, Brandon assumed leadership of IT’s Project Management Workforce Development, leveraging global best practices and industry trends. His role focused on ensuring project management professionals possessed the tools and skills needed for success within the discipline. This dedication earned him the opportunity to lead the 360+ member Project Management Community of Excellence in Boeing South Carolina in 2016. Brandon’s achievements were further recognized with a Modern Day Technology Leader Award at the 2018 Black Engineering of the Year Conference. Currently serving as an Executive Integrator in Boeing Global Services IT, he is responsible for enhancing the performance of the Engineering & Supply Chain Leadership Team.
Beyond excelling in technology, Brandon emphasizes mentorship and inspiration for personal success. He believes in leading to provide others with the taste of true success, stating, “I live for that irreplaceable moment when someone accomplishes something they never thought possible.”
Having successfully navigated his corporate journey, Brandon extends his knowledge to others entering the corporate world. He invites them to an interactive session focused on insights for the road ahead, covering topics such as personal branding roadblocks, actions before graduation, and an iterative approach to goal setting.
The origin of Brandon’s career path lies in his childhood curiosity, adventure, and interest in understanding how things work. As an undergraduate computer engineer, his innate curiosity led him to participate in various engineering endeavors, from software development to mechanical and electrical analysis. The pivotal moment came with his acceptance into the Georgia Tech Denning Technology & Management Program (T&M), shaping his understanding of the intersection between engineering and management.
